Your home profile: a digital record of all of your home’s essentials

At the heart of our one app for your home is your Home Profile — a new digital record that includes essential information about each homeowner’s property: where it’s located, what types of appliances it has, the indoor and outdoor spaces and features it includes, as well as the homeowner’s specific goals. For example, if you recently purchased a fixer-upper, you can choose “boost curb appeal” alongside “renovate home” as your home goals. You can easily go back into your home profile and add new goals as your life changes — whether that’s babyproofing your home in anticipation of a new family member or increasing your home’s value if you’re thinking about selling in the near future. Based on your inputs, we’ll provide you with AI-powered suggestions throughout the experience for everything from what projects to tackle first to what kinds of seasonal and weather-based upkeep tasks are needed.

According to our new report, 83% of homeowners were surprised by the complexity of their homes after moving in. To help them know where to start, we’ve created guides. Informed by your home goals, these provide tailored, step-by-step guidance on which projects to complete.

Our core upkeep guide outlines essential maintenance projects season by season to keep your home running smoothly, and avoid costly emergencies. These include routine care like “Service HVAC” and options based on your specific home, its systems, and location like “Aerate Lawn” or “Gutter Cleaning.”

Once your guides and plans have helped you decide what to do and when to do it, we’ll help you get all your home projects done with the touch of a button. Ready to book a pro to prepare your yard for the summer? Just click “lawn care,” read through the pros’ ratings and reviews, click on the pro you’d like to book, and a calendar with their availability will pop up. Choose the date and time that works best for you and you’re all set.

Stay in touch with your go-to pros with Your Team

Finally, once you’re ready to rebook a project, the new Your Team feature makes it so you never need to hunt for that pro you worked with last time or start from scratch for each project. This centralized hub provides a single place to save all the pros you’ve used so they’re always easy to find. One-click rebooking, reviews, referrals, and messaging help you stay in touch with your favorite home service businesses, and it’s simple to share recommended pros with friends, family, neighbors, renters, realtors, and other members of the community.
